Teleconference - Water Code

Within the framework of the development of information technology skills our project partner schools have decided to organize a teleconference. Its theme was the discussion of Teenagers’ Water Code’ which was the result of the workshops during the visit in Polish school. In addition, we wanted to find the simplest and most effective ways to save water, that teenagers and their loved ones can perform in everyday life. Our school was responsible for conducting this conference. We checked and prepared the equipment, contacted in advance with our partners to get their Skype accounts.December 16th, 2013 at 11 o'clock (Polish time) we had a trial. It was time to look for solutions to technical problems which might occur during the conference.Once again we assembled in front of the computers on January 17th 2014, 12 o’clock (Polish time). We managed to connect. We presented our findings, each of the schools, in alphabetical order. Then it was time for discussion. The students handed us their opinions. Unfortunately, we didn’t hear all of the partners properly, so we also used text communication. As a result, our Water Code obtained the final shape. We decided that the best water-saving methods are: using a shower instead of a bath, remembering about closing taps when we wash teeth, hair or soap the body. These are simple steps that we often do not pay attention to. Some think more globally stressing the importance of dams. 25 minutes passed very quickly.
